Thank you for visiting Stroke Space Interactive (SSI).

SSI is an interactive educational resource designed for health care practitioners involved in the diagnosis and management of stroke.  The primary goal of SSI is to offer learning tools and other informational resources that will lead to improved outcomes for stroke patients.

SSI is an outreach of the Institute for Advanced Medical Education, a leading provider of continuing medical education in stroke.  SSI’s range of educational resources includes case studies, articles, powerpoint presentations, archived lectures and a Q&A forum with a panel of stroke experts.   SSI also offers a uniquely interactive educational experience, with a series of case studies where users can conduct virtual patient assessments and “work-ups”.  These interactive cases and other portions of the site also provide the user with the opportunity to obtain CME credits.

The resources on SSI are drawn from published manuscripts, direct submissions by stroke experts and meeting presentations. SSI welcomes any suggestions and comments about this site, but please note, that SSI does not provide professional medical advice.
